The last vestige of a late summer rainstorm clears over Capitol Reef National Park. This is remote Cathedral Valley and its Temples of the Moon (left) and Sun (right). The rising sun illuminated the clouds and normally brownish sandstone in a soft pink glow. I don’t think there was anybody within 20 miles of me that morning.
