The mighty Porsche 917 at speed. These incredibly powerful and scary racing machines brought Porsche outright wins at Le Mans and effectively killed the Can-Am racing series by being so much faster than the competition. These early 70’s cars were capable of 0-62mph (100kph) in just over 2 seconds and a top speed of 240mph. There really haven’t been any race cars this fast (or dangerous) since.
