On Big Talbot Island in northern Florida there is a beach known as “The Boneyard”. It’s called that for the scores of bleached dead trees that have fallen onto the sand. I was photographing the tree on the left when I noticed a little bar of color at the edge of the frame. When I looked up from the camera, this is what I saw. I quickly repositioned my camera and captured this image before it disappeared. What a nice surprise!
A second surprise happened today when I loaded the image onto my computer. Until then I hadn’t noticed the second rainbow!
