These IMSA (International Motor Sports Association) cars approach 200 mph as they race flat out down the main “straight” of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. What I like about this series is that the cars look very much like the models we see in the show rooms. Of course, that’s where the similarities end. They are nothing but purpose-built race cars underneath.
