A Polar Bear sow and her cub bide their time on land during the summer months. They are waiting for the Arctic Ocean to ice over when they can again go out on the ice floes to hunt for seals, their main source of food. With global warming, that scenario is becoming less and less regular, putting a great strain on the species.
