Dunes

The rhythmic shapes of sand dunes in Death Valley. These dunes were freshly swept by fierce winds, eliminating the ubiquitous footprints from visitors. The winds were challenging for photography, but we readily realized that without the wind the dunes wouldn’t be there at all.
