A race version of the new C8 Corvette streaks down a short straightaway during an IMSA (International Motor Sports Association) series race in Long Beach, California. I’ve always liked this series’ class of cars because they look like the cars we drive. Make no mistake though, these are not your off-the-rack grocery getters. These are full-on race cars.
This view was looking down and panning from the top of a parking garage along the street course. The road surface is flat and horizontal although this angle might give the appearance of being banked.
