That’s the town of Lone Pine, California at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Range. (Do you see the “LP” on the hill?) Looming above the town, some of the peaks visible are among the highest mountains in the continental U.S.
In case you are wondering, that’s not snow on the peaks. It’s the bare granite “glowing” from increasing “blue hour ambient illumination while everything else is relatively dark in this pre-dawn summer image.
