Twelve Minutes

One of the most impressive natural phenomenon I photograph is lightning. The trick is to place myself a safe distance away (many miles) and watch the storm develop and pass by. In this case that plan worked perfectly. The image encompasses twelve minutes of a storm cell drifting from left to right, distributing CG (cloud to ground) lightning strikes.
