In a place as desolate as White Sands, New Mexico, it’s amazing to see how much life there is out there. Of course when you learn that this vast expanse of gypsum is anchored in place by water below, it starts to make sense. These sharp and pointy yuccas make an interesting contrast against the soft forms of the dunes in the brilliant light.
