There is something magical about Savannah, Georgia. Sure. It’s a touristy college town but it’s also a place that inspires the imagination. Maybe it’s the moss in the trees, misty graveyards or the ever present stories of ghosts. Maybe it’s more than that. I don’t know. What I do know is that there is certainly an ethereal quality to the town in those pre-tourist early morning hours when there is no one on the streets except the odd wandering photographer and a few hapless spirits.
This image of the fountain in Forsyth Park was captured during the Christmas Season on one of those pre-dawn wanderings.
