These two Coastal Brown Bear cubs were playing out on the tidal mud flats in Katmai National Park, Alaska. They were over a quarter of a mile away so we put on our longest lens configurations to capture the action. Even at high magnification, this is a cropped image. Sometimes in order to photograph a great moment we have to shoot in less than optimal conditions. Still, this image captures a fun little interaction between the two siblings. Remember! They look cute now but in a few years they will be full grown Grizzlies!

The left one must be the younger sibling, intently listening to the older one on the right. Reminded me of my little sister 😀
