A North American Aviation B-25 “Mitchell” bomber cruises through the clouds above Southern California. Named for U.S. military aviation pioneer, Major General William “Billy” Mitchell, thousands of B-25’s were manufactured and utilized by the Allied forces in every theater of WW2 combat. Only a handful remain. Now we can only imagine what it was like when the sky was filled with squadrons of these historic warbirds.
