And now for something completely different…
There’s nothing that says you can’t have fun just messing around with photography! In fact, it’s a great way to explore ideas and inspirations that you wouldn’t normally encounter if you kept to your usual methodologies. In this case I was taking a West Coast School macro class from Frank Peele where we were capturing smoke, using strobes. I later revisited the images and played in Photoshop to create this image.
I don’t know about you but I can see more than a half dozen alien looking “faces” in the smoke!
