Art Question:

LACMA RI Miracle Mile

If you shoot a picture of someone else’s art, can you claim your image as your own art? In this case the subject is a portion of Robert Irwin’s “Miracle Mile” light study at LACMA.

If your answer is “No” then what if the “someone else’s art” is a beautiful automobile, inspiring architecture or a fabulously landscaped garden? … Hmmm.
