As anyone who photographs landscapes will tell you, the hardest part is the getting up early before sunrise. It has to be early enough to load the car, travel to where you need to be and get your camera gear set up way before it gets light. Most of the time it’s an uncertain venture where there is no guarantee that something good will happen.
The thing is… You don’t get the shot if you’re not there.
