Racetrack Lunacy

This bit of craziness was during one of the support races at the 2016 Grand Prix of Long Beach. Basically these trucks race around the track and over jumps. I’m not sure if many watching actually care who wins but the spectacle is fantastic and the crowd, including yours truly, really loves it.

To achieve this head-on view it was necessary for me to leave the track area and find a bit of higher ground on a public street where I could site straight down towards the jump ramp. I was nearly a quarter of a mile away from this action.
